My name is Filipa, and I'm a painter living and working in Lisbon, Portugal.

I studied architecture at the Faculty of Architecture of the University of Lisbon, with my final year spent at the Polytechnic University of Turin. Drawing and painting have been part of my practice from an early age, and my studies in architecture have further shaped the way I observe and understand the world through these mediums. I later studied drawing and painting at Ar.Co in Lisbon, with the intention of deepening my artistic practice.

My creative process often begins with an analysis of a place or a collection of memories, exploring the connections between nature, landscape, and emotions, often through an intuitive process of drawing and painting that has become a way of expressing my inner urgency to understand and demystify moments, feelings, and places.
